DIY HALLOWEEN MUA: VOL.II 2014

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

It’s only within the first hour of this day, but I wanted to make sure I made it in time before the ‘Bewitching Hour‘ (3 A.M.)

How is everyone doing with their costumes? Have you all been having a blasting planning? Or haven’t done much at all? Well I hope these last few post through out the day (and on instagram) will inspire and help ease the planning!

Don’t forget to hashtag: #b2bhalloween14 we love to feature your look and show everyone what YOU came up with! P.S. my older brother carved that face for me. :)

Our FIRST look is a Sorcerer of some kind, and her main element is water, more so the “frozen” kind. This can be an ICE Queen, ICE Witch or a character from a story of great adventure filled with sprites, elves, and other forest creatures…

The SECOND look is a ‘Ventriloquist’. Set more in the 20’s/30’s era. I love this puppet look, and a couple years ago I did this with a more black and white tones, but instead i did more neutral colors, and it gave it a softer touch (believe me the other one looked eeeevvviiiilllll, I gave my niece nightmares!). I then proceeded to show you two more options with the prior look, all adding a little more horror to the look. For some reason I think of my two childhood favorites (tv) ” Are You Afraid of the Dark” and (book series) ” Goosebumps”…

The THIRD look is always needed in any HALLOWEEN MUA series, and that’s a ‘Zombie’ or the new term “CRAWLER”. This decaying face is a always fun and the best part is there aren’t any rules! JUST HAVE FUN! With that said I played with different parts of decay, and gave her some attitude! This crawler is a ‘ZOMBIE HIPSTER’ and she can throw shade for daysssssss…

Below we have PICTORIALS on some fun looks to re-create!

For our Ice Queen- Ice Witch- or even an evil cousin/step sister of Elsa, from Disney’s Frozen. lol

You can buy these at CVS, specialty makeup supply stores like Sally’s or Ulta, Even brands like Maybelline and NYX have this product.
