A BEWITCHED FALL SEASON
“My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage." - Aunt Frances” ― Alice Hoffman, Practical Magic
I don't know if it's because I'm a September baby, but Fall is my absolute favorite season. There is something so magical about it, that it just warms my very heart. Growing up, I obsessed over a few films; The Addams Family, The Craft, Practical Magic, and of course Hocus Pocus (I did play 'Light as a Feather Stiff as Board' multiple time and yes, Halloween, is my favorite holiday too). Needless to say these films/characters have influenced my fashion.
From gothic to whimsical clothing, to the beautiful arrangement of orange and black, it is my happy place. My favorite thing about this season, is I get to play a little more with my outfit choices. For me, it's all about the layers, accessories, and pairing basic neutrals with warm tones. I tend to wear an eclectic assortment of pieces, and it is usually something along the lines of boho-rock 'n' roll-tom boy-gypsy-whimsy. You follow? lol
There are many stores that showcase these pieces, but the one store that always does it justice in their look books is, Free People(go to their website HERE). That store is my "spirit animal".
