Bouquet of the month (a series) #March : Tulips & Freesias🌻
"Blooms of the Month". Since I was little I've always romanticized having fresh flowers in the home and sorting stems with purpose. Over time I've learned about the spiritual symbolism behind colors and flowers and the benefits of having them in the home. I want to explore all the stems you can pick up at your local grocery or specialty wholesale shoppes!
Although my son's birthday is February 27th, we celebrated on March 2nd, which is also the birthday of his late uncle, Alex. We did a small family gathering and themed it Mardis Gras, hence the yellow and purple tulips. I always wondered about the timing of my son's birthday. I always felt that Alex was always there keeping Celso Alexander safe and also in a way offer healing in the timing of his birth with my husband. The colors of Mardi Gras are rich, royal and strong and although I could get into the amazingness of everything New Orleans, this post is about flowers. All month long we celebrated these colors and flowers in our home. It felt right...
Let's talk Tulips & FREESIAS:
Spiritual Meaning of Tulips:
Tulips symbolize deep and unconditional love, renewal, and the beauty of life's cycles. They are often seen as a sign of grace and a reminder that after the coldest winters, spring always returns. The presence of tulips can feel like a gentle whisper from the universe—hopeful, uplifting, and full of promise.
Like other flowers, tulips carry different meanings through their colors. Sometimes I choose the colors with intention; other times, I let them choose me. If you want to fill your home with a specific energy through tulips, consider these meanings:
🤍 White tulips mean forgiveness, purity, and spiritual renewal.
❤️ Red tulips symbolize deep love, courage, and passion.
💛 Yellow tulips bring energy of cheerfulness, optimism, and friendship.
💗 Pink tulips express affection, emotional healing, and inner peace.
💜 Purple tulips represent royalty, transformation, and spiritual growth.
Spiritual Meaning of Freesias:
Trust, innocence , purity and enlightenment. The scent in freesia vary from color to color. From powdery notes to fruity bubble gum, these elegant yet almost wild like flowers need to come back in the spotlight.
💗Pink freesia is motherly love
💛Yellow freesia is friendship, joy and renewal
❤️Red freesia symbolizes passion
🤍White freesia mean purity and innocence

This month's mood is all about Renewal , optimism, joy and transformation.
