Summer is coming to a close and I wanted to share what I've currently been obsessing over. The goal with 'Currently' posts were to share the latest anywhere from monthly to bi-monthly, but here we are. Hopefully I can keep at it for the coming months, however not much was going to come from the three months of postpartum lol....

Enjoy this month's (MONTHSSS) Currently...

Postpartum Recovery|

This deserves a longer post but what I can say is this time around it's been a much easier recovery. The steps I took before to handle swelling and physical activity has definitely played a part in my healing. Aside from beginning my walking routines, I brought back the OG program " Ab Rehab" by Nancy Anderson, Job1 on Bodi, and then my cardio has been 12-3-30, which is walking on twelve incline for thirty minutes on three speed however, you need to work up to three speed cause that can be bit uncomfortable on your incision (if you had a c-section), proceed with caution and if you weren't one to be heavily active pre-pregnancy really take it easy and consider Bodi's pre & post natal barre classes to get into the habit of moving you body.

Consignment | For years I told myself that i would consider consigning some of lightly worn clothing and accessories to make some chump change. Little did I know I would be kicking myself in the ass, because this summer I can say I'm just a few hundred bucks from breaking 1K. The money right now will be used for Christmas gifts, travel or emergency expenses. However I really wanted to shop early for gifts this year and knowing that this feels like play money, makes it that much sweeter! I currently am enjoying a local gem called WORTH Consignment. Charlie is the owner and she clearly is on top of it. At first glance when you walk in, the decor is sohpisticated but the prices are not expensive. Which you think, how will I make money. Certain items sell more than others, some gems are priced higher, but there is so much movement at her shop that I find it the best local spot in Miami to thrift and sell.

Laundry Sauce |

My mother is an artist when it comes to laundry. She can make the whitest whites bright, prevent the dark linens from fading and on and on. The best is how fresh her clothing to sheets last. She's always looking for lux ways for the home to feel and smell clean, which is how she turned all us kid's households into laundry sauce fans! The product and company are sustainable and use clean materials. I have it all, the detergent pods, softener, dryer sheets, fabric sprays and scent extenders. I first used them for my bedsheets and towels to make sure i loved the scent and to see how the fabric felt. Happy to report it was luxurious AF. So now I have the whole line of my two favorite scents "Egyptian Rose" and "French Saffron". Even Laundry Sauce realized how obsessed I am and gave my a discount code for me and all my friends, so if you wanted to start somewhere, try the pods first! use code " CAROLINA15 " BUY HERE

Home Luxury Scents |

We all love a good scent to set the tone in your home and workspace, however with a toddler, newborn and soon to be freshly painting interiors, I'm spacing out my candle light moments and incorporating the diffusers instead. I've already seen a difference in our air filters and less soot by the air vent. Something very common from candle burning. I also only need one diffuser to scent the common areas, while keeping the play area and rooms scent free. If you haven't heard of "Luxury Home Scents" that's ok, I'm here to help you curate a set of fragrances for the upcoming season.

My Favs:

  • Segovia: Warming spices, earthy and subtle sweetness, perfect for Fall.

  • Beijing: Mulling Spices, red currants with a hint of Balsam, very similar to Nest's Holiday Candle.

  • Christmas: Pine Evergreen, sweet orange notes the essentials for Christmas vibes.

  • No. 6: Vanilla forward, cozy vibes. Will most likely put out in the new year.

  • Miami: Just a fun but not obnoxious scent to change things up in the off seasons.

What Not (app) Thrifting|

I finally downloaded the What Not app i kept being target from all my inspo content creators I follow. The nesting game is strong, even postpartum and while i keep finding ways to improve systems at home, I also have been heavily in curating more and more pieces. IF you aren't familiar with What Not, it's like online auction with a tiktok live vibe. There are all types of categories and I always find myself in the vintage and antique section. We're talkin/ $2 dollar starts on items that go for hundreds of dollars on ebay and estate sales sometimes. Sometimes no one bids and you get lucky with a find that only when up 6 bucks, sometimes 20, sometimes 80- but so far I've gotten lucky with so many gems that tell a story. I feel like i need to do a separate post to share my handful of favorite shows that i watch for you to follow and experience... must do that soon! Go check it out. There's a ton of tending clothing and jewelry options right now. Ideal for saving money on gifts too.

Mind Body Soul POSTPARTUM Journals | I had been wanting to make a postpartum journal since i first launched, but before I did, I needed to make sure what not to include from my other journal creations. The pages and prompts needed to be flexible, intentional and a safe space to either write a hard moment down, or describe a memory you never want to forget. It's now become a gift for all the ladies I know who are about to give birth or are currently going through it.

To learn more about these planners and journals, READ THIS NEW YEAR POST HERE, if you're ready to have it shipped to your doorstep, BUY HERE,

I hope you enjoyed this new "CURRENTLY" post and look forward to sharing all the finds in the season ahead.

Have a great last week of January!
