While I was working on my personal favorites of accessories from our NoLa wedding, it occurred to me that currently millions of brides are either having a quarantine wedding or postponing their everything. For the brides that are having their ceremonies in the midst of a pandemic, first off BRAVO and second you're a BADASS! For those who have postponed their nuptials, you are PATIENT AF. I'm not here to give you any advice, I don't think any bride pre-pandemic can. I am here to cheer you on and wish you nothing but the most beautiful and sacred day!
As I pondered on this accessories bit, I asked myself "there's got to be some major quarantine wedding swag and ideas for all you Rona Brides out there, right?" Oh yes you all have some clever things in the webs. I even found an #etsyshop dedicated to Rona Brides made by a Rona Bride! I do feel this is a list that will continue to grow as I find more items in the next month...

Let's start with the first thing we all need when we step outside our home, the dreaded face mask! However a company I had custom design some of my work masks just released their bridal collection. SwatchHub is a company based out of NYC and founded by a Miami native, so you know I gotta support! She can custom print or embroider just about anything (masks, tissue's anything with cloth). They known for their beaded textiles and this is something, say for a bride, would want an extra glam mask. If you wanted your bridal party to also have matching masks it's a one stop shop!

What's the next thing you may need for you and your guests? Why not some personalized hand sanitizer? I'll take that over Jordan Almonds or bubbles any day. There are a few people making them, but this one by Petal and Paperie is elegant.

As we've gathered our printables from the blog, we also thought we make some new ones, especially with all the wedding talk we had this past summer. So how do you as a bride or guest navigate who's into hugging, waving, or a healthy 6ft apart conversation? There's always different signs and posters at weddings, so why not make an easy organized color coded sign based on wearing the color coded band or bracelet that matches with what you feel comfortable with. Into dancing and hugging? wear green. Feel comfortable 6ft apart, here's yellow. Rather bask it all in from a much further distance, wear white. I've made four different looks to hopefully fill the vibes of the couples wedding, but we take custom orders anyway!
